The Frontier Force Regiment is the successor to the Frontier Brigade raised in 1846. Faith and trust in Allah Air Marshal (Air Force) The equivalent to this rank in Pakistan Air Force is Air Marshal. It remained in India during the First World War but took an active part in the Third Anglo-Afghan War in 1919. It is planned to be moved to the capital city of Islamabad. The 17th and 14th still carry the designation of Infantry Divisions. 5th Horse is the successor to the 1st Sikh Irregular Cavalry (Wales's Horse), and the 2nd Sikh Irregular Cavalry, both raised in 1857. This is broadly similar to the structures of the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force, in that the four-star (general-equivalent) commanders-in-chief have been eliminated since 2011 and service chiefs are given direct command of their respective services and are responsible as Top Level Budget (TLB) holders.
